Why did I make this site?

For those of you looking to find out information on what matters to you financially, without having to worry about the conflict of a financial institution. What do I mean by that?

Right now, you are likely working with a financial institution as they have the largest product offerings in the financial market place. However, there’s one thing wrong with that. They don’t work for you.

Having worked at large financial institutions and having observed their behavior over the last three decades, it’s apparent that they do not work to your benefit. They provide products and services, but they do not act in your best interests despite telling you so. Their views on investments have been proven to be wrong. Remember “buy and hold”? Remember “index funds”? Remember how they misquoted researchers like Markowitz? Timing and pricing of stock purchases is everything in determining profitability. Of course you were told the exact opposite.

The net effect is that many of you have lost money on your investments and likely can’t recover it. However you were repeatedly told to hang on for the long haul. You were encouraged from the beginning of your relationship with them to invest in financial markets whether you knew anything about them or not; whether they were even appropriate for you or not…You had no idea of the risks you were taking until now, but were told that they had accurately assessed your “risk tolerance”, by answering a handful of questions. Despite being an existing client for years, you were never shown the best rate unless you pressured them. Despite being an existing client for years, your service charges were never reduced. When borrowing money from them, you were expected to be responsible yet they have been completely irresponsible in how they have conducted themselves with depositors and shareholders money.

So I decided that I wanted to provide interested clients an alternative. An honest, truthful alternative that does present a realistic picture of what is happening in the world and what I think will affect you, without influence. My services are designed to guide you in a sensible way. There are no hidden corporate targets pushing me to have you do something you don’t need to. There’s no turnover of staff to contend with. I am an expert. I have the knowledge and experience you need to improve your financial situation. I work with you one on one.
